Tahlia

Tahlia Akyereko is a 23-year-old independent artist and live performer from Western Sydney whose sultry sounds explore the likes of neo soul, jazz and contemporary R&B. Through her art and creativeness as a performer, Tahlia has the special ability to captivate and connect with her audience through her innovative and passionate live sets and that warm, soulful vocal tone. Tahlia is musically inspired and influenced by artists such as Yebba, Erykah Badu, Olivia Dean, Cleo Sol, Solange, Snoh Aalegra and Lauryn Hill.

Back in 2022, Tahlia was fortunate enough to become a Talent Development Project graduate, where she had the incredible opportunity to record a collaborative album as well as a cover single at the renowned Sony Music Studios. Tahlia has also performed at many gigs in Sydney, including Western Sydney Mixtape at GSUS4, Impact 100 and Bring It On Festival, as well as at Sydney's renowned venues such as Lazybones, The Star Casino, Soda Factory and Factory Theatre.

Tahlia continues to express her art at many gigs and venues in and around Sydney, offering a small insight into her artistry. She is currently in the studio curating a collection of music to be released in the near future.
