Rein Mali

Rein Mali is an Indo-born, Perth-raised R&B/neo-soul artist now based in Sydney. His first chapter unfolded in his dad's church, playing music steeped in sounds of hope, faith and soul - an upbringing that ignited his love for music and eventually led him to becoming an artist in his own right.

Drawing on influences like D'Angelo, Musiq Soulchild, Fred Hammond and Stevie Wonder, Rein describes his sound as "time travel R&B," blending nu jazz, neo-soul and pop with a UK-leaning polish. His singles, including "Like Ah" and "Give You Space," showcase a genre-bending, effortlessly slick style that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
