Lady King

Lady King is the soulful project of Sydney-raised Thai-Australian artist Lara King. Blending R&B, jazz and soul classics, Lara's sound draws comparisons to Sade and Erykah Badu.

A classically trained multi-instrumentalist and gifted singer-songwriter, Lara has also lent her talents to acclaimed acts such as Lime Cordiale and Ocean Alley. After spending two years immersed in Bangkok's vibrant jazz scene, including residencies at luxury hotels such as The Standard and The Rosewood, Lady King has now returned to Sydney, bringing a revived energy to Australia's neo-soul landscape.

With rich, soulful vocals and a warm, live-band sound, she's a compelling presence on stage, performing everything from stripped-back acoustic sets to full-band shows - an artist not to be missed.
